On 19 April 2012 at 18.30 NON will be hosting Nazım Hikmet Richard Dikbaş and Extramücadele for a talk on their joint-exhibition titled Nereden Gelmemiz Gerekiyorsa Oradan Gelmişizdir / They Came From Where They Came From. The questions they are bound to answer include: Where did this exhibition come from? Who did it visit, and at which stops did it pause? Is the empire still crumbling?
The two artists will speak 20 minutes each and then answer further questions. Cakes and böreks, tea, beer and wine are further possibilities. Everyone who has a query about the exhibition, or just wants to listen in is invited.

The launch of Güneş Terkol’s artist book titled “The Sounds of London” will be at DEPO, Istanbul.
As a resident at Gasworks, London, between April 7 and June 30 2010, Güneş Terkol worked on a project titled “The Sounds of London.” She worked on a notebook using daily experiences, newspaper clippings and her dreamworld as material. This notebook has been reproduced by Ditto Press using the risography technique, staying true to the original form of the notebook that developed through daily additions over the course of the residency.
